Green Lantern Road Investigation

History/Hauntings: The legend is so old that nobody really knows what happened to the man but, as the story goes, if you travel down this road late at night you will see a green shining lantern/light quickly float behind your car, your car lights will shut off and the car will die, then a man in a trench coat ends up holding the lantern and walks out in front of you to the cemetery and disappears in the woods, whereas, your car starts up again.

It’s a complete hoax. Jason Snider even knows the guy (Bill White) who made the whole story up when he was back in high school to scare girls. He researched the heck out of it. It was actually an oil well shack out in the woods and there was a Green Lantern in there that would swing back and forth and scare people. The guy actually got a Green Lantern and started walking around with it to start the whole thing.

Equipment setup: We pulled off road into Fritschle Cemetery along 7 Hills Lane (Green Lantern Road) and used some hand-held equipment such as the Phasma Box, digital recorders and cameras and camcorders with supplemental infrared illumination.

Experiments performed: EVP and a Phasma Box session was conducted inside the cemetery.

Personal experiences: This location was really off the beaten path and extremely rural in nature. Rosario claimed to have heard a little kid laughing. There was a lot of loud cricket contamination which made good EVP experiments almost impossible.

Evidence collected: None.

Conclusions: This is a location that I have heard about for decades and always wanted to visit even though Snider informed me that it was nothing more than urban legend or outright trickery. I’m sure that most people have always had a dream about visiting a certain location even though that location turns out to be nothing more than a fabrication? This was one of those locations for me.

Nothing was picked up except crickets but the scary factor was a +10 due to its location and distance from civilization.
